Ray Fontaine

Principal Designer, Co-Owner & Founder

Ray Fontaine is a designer, artist, systems thinker, and “fixer.” Fontaine makes a happy team and a high-quality product her top priorities. Her primary objective is to work within a community of creative, passionate individuals to offer a product or service that people truly need and want.

Born in New Orleans, Ray moved to San Diego to Dallas  to New York to Tokyo to London and back to NOLA exploring various career paths, learning new ideas and creative skills along the way. She has brought visions to life for the likes of Saturday Night Live, MTV’s Wild N’ Out, RedBull Music Festival, Elements NYC, Figment Festival, Camp Bisco, and Buku Music + Art Project.  In New Orleans, Ray Fontaine played major roles in the marketing department of Tulane University School of Architecture, LifeCity, and Jericho Road Episcopal Housing Initiative.

As an internationally acclaimed designer, she led teams to exhibit in Dubai Design Week, Mobile Asia in Singapore, and IE KMD Venture Day in Tokyo in addition to holding a residency at the Brooklyn Fashion + Design Accelerator.

When she is not working, Fontaine loves yoga, long bike rides, and writing songs on the guitar. On the weekends, you can find her at Markey’s bar eating pizza or Petit Clouet grabbing a coffee with friends. She loves the Bywater community and hopes to help to keep it funky as the neighborhood continues to develop.
